Description

Rotato is a fast arcade puzzle game about rotating shapes to match the silhouettes.

Each successful match scores points and adds time to the clock. Your goal is to complete as many matches as possible before time runs out.

 

Controls

Touch

• Tilt: Swipe Up/Down
• Turn: Swipe Left/Right
• Roll: Twist (two fingers) Clockwise/Counterclockwise

Keyboard

*Make sure you click inside the window first to get itch to register the keyboard controls*

Menu

• Navigate: W, A, S, D (or arrow keys)
• Confirm selection: Enter

In Game

• Tilt: W, S (or Up, Down arrows)
• Turn: A, D (or Left, Right arrows)
• Roll: Q, E
• Pause: Escape

 

Detailed Instructions

Each shape requires 5 matches before the next shape will appear.

Rotate the shape until it matches the silhouette orientation. Be persistent! Some shapes look the same from multiple orientations. Only one orientation is the match you are looking for!

A perfect match is when you match the correct orientation in the fewest moves. Fun fact, every match can be solved in 3 moves or less. The bell will tell you if you got a perfect. Perfect matches score more points. Get a perfect match on all 5 silhouettes of a shape to increase the score multiplier.

Each match will also add more time to the clock. Score as many points as you can before time runs out.

Pro tip: On keyboards, use two hands (one on Q/E and one on the arrow keys) to maximize your dexterity.
